Favorite a folder or an entire drive
Folder favorites provide shortcuts to media directories. Home shelves and favorite cards follow the rules for each source type.
1.Choose a folder or the whole drive
Use the source menu or a folder star in saved shares. Use the root entry for the whole drive, or favorite a subfolder separately. Give the card a clear name.
2.Browse through the favorite
Open the favorite on Home or Files to browse posters. Matched movies and series can open details; unmatched content and mixed folders retain folder browsing.
3.Understand removal
Removing a cloud or share favorite does not delete remote files, but can remove media indexed through that favorite. Media covered by another parent or whole-drive favorite is retained. Server and category cards use their own menus.
Before you finish
- The favorite covers the intended folder
- The card opens the intended location
- Index removal is understood
